Located in the heart of Sutter Creek, the Knight Foundry is America's last water-powered foundry and machine shop. The foundry has lots to explore, including its unique equipment and machinery which is still in its original place from the Gold Rush-Era. This historic landmark is something you definitely do not want to miss! 

With a selection of vineyards Shenandoah Valley makes for the perfect day trip from the Kiota Inn in Sutter Creek. Located in the warmest region of Amador County Shenandoah wines produce a ripe and full bodied grape which lead to a high alcohol content wine! 

Are you ready to go back in time? There is nothing like enjoying a piece of history like taking The Gold Mine Trail walk. The Gold mine Trail of Sutter Creek is approximately a 15 mile trail where you can learn all about the Gold Rush days!

Located at the entrance to Downtown Sutter Creek, Miners Bend Park was a dream come true for two locals who worked hard to put this display together. With the help and support of the community the dream became a reality and they broke ground in 2015 and just a year later the project was complete! The park is more than an outside museum, which tells the story of historic Sutter Creek and its surrounding areas. Something you will be glad you got to see! 

With 40+ wineries in Amador County, the vintners association includes primarily small, family-owned operations whose proprietors make and sell their own wines.
